Inauguration of the Sacrum Non Profanum International Music Festival

The Sacrum Non Profanum International Music Festival, has been organized continuously since 2005 by the Pomeranian Association of Instrumentalists "Academia" in Szczecin. This year's 20th edition of the Festival is carried out under the motto Music Unites Nations - Masterpieces of Film Music, and is dedicated once again to the silent heroes of the war in our eastern neighbors - the women and children of Ukraine. This year, the Festival was held under the honorary patronage of Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska - Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Joanna Scheuring Wielgus - Secretary of State at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Adam Rudawski - West Pomeranian Voivode, Olgierd Geblewicz - Marshall of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Joanna Agatowska - Mayor of Swinoujscie, Piotr Krzystek - Mayor of Szczecin, and Vasyl Zwarycz - Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland. Partners of the event are: PSI Academia, the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra of Ukraine, the West Pomeranian Marshal's Office, the Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Szczecin, the Convention for Local Government Cooperation Poland-Ukraine, the Szczecin Artistic Agency, the Academy of Art, SAIL International School, the Municipal Cultural Center in Swinoujscie, DK Krzemień, DK 13 Muz, the M. Karłowicz Philharmonic Orchestra and Książnica Pomorska im. St. Staszic in Szczecin.The festival will be inaugurated by two events, including the chamber concert "Vivaldi Forever" and the opening of the exhibition "Prelude and Fugue, or the Birth of PSI Academia and the 20th Anniversary of the Festival," scheduled for June 15 at 12:00 pm in the Zbigniew Herbert Hall of the Pomeranian Bookstore.The concert will feature the Muras/Brzezina Duo Łukasz Brzezina - accordion Jakub Muras - saxophone
