At the summer solstice in June, the town has been organizing the Schwedt Midsummer Night together with the association MOMENTUM e. V. and the Uckermärkische Bühnen since 2002. Between 5 p.m. and 2 a.m., there are activities in the town center, ranging from live music, readings and artistry to fire shows and the Midsummer Night's Bonfire.
