Andriy Deshchytsya, Ukrainian political scientist, and Jan Tombinski, historian, will be the guests of the next meeting of the "Open Community" series. Andriy Deshchytsya - Ukrainian political scientist and diplomat. He served as Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2014, Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland and Iceland from 2008-2014, Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland from 2014-2020. A graduate of Lviv's Ivan Franko University. He earned his doctorate at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He lives in Kiev.Jan Tombinski - historian and diplomat. Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Slovenia in 1996-98, also accredited in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 2001-2006 in France, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Poland to the European Union in 2007-2012, then Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine 2012-2016 and to the Holy See 2016-2020. From 2022-2024, EU Advisor for Diplomatic and European Affairs to the Government of Moldova. Member of the Senate Council of the Ukrainian University in Lviv. Recipient of the Bl.
