The palace in Leśno Górne is located on private property and is surrounded by a high fence. The history of the building dates back to the 1890s. It was built in the Neo-Gothic style, though elements of eclecticism are also evident. The building has three stories, and an octagonal tower is situated in the right corner when viewed from the front. The palace’s walls are whitewashed and feature numerous windows, which ensure that the interior is bright and well-lit. The property has changed hands several times. The last pre-war owners of the estate in Leśno Górne—and thus of the palace—were Johannes and Emma Brüssow, who gave their estate its final form. In the 1920s, during renovations following a fire, the building was equipped with electricity, central heating, running water, and a sewer system. The Brüssow family also laid out a palace park here, where weeping willows, linden trees, maples, and oaks grew then and continue to grow to this day. There is a small pond next to the building. Nearby, amid the trees, stands a memorial boulder honoring the poet Hermann Löns, erected there in 1943 on the twentieth anniversary of his death. In the postwar years, the palace served as a military base, and later the building was used as housing for families working at the Szczecin-Gumieńce State Farm. In the early 1990s, the palace and its park were purchased by a private individual who, unfortunately, did not carry out any conservation work there. The property eventually passed into the hands of another private owner, who this time properly maintained the building and its surroundings. Currently, the building has been adapted for residential and commercial use. In the vicinity of the palace are the former farm and estate buildings. The grounds are open for viewing from the outside, from behind the gate.
