FAMA Festival in Swinoujscie

Once again Swinoujscie will become a real city of art! Between August 19 and 24 there will be dozens of artistic events - there will be no shortage of
concerts, theatrical performances, literary meetings, film screenings, vernissages and many other fantastic cultural events.

As part of the competition shows, we have prepared for you 14 author events in the music section, and the performing arts this year include as many as seven theatrical presentations, and looking at the high level of the submitted works, this is a lucky number indeed! As part of the Places of Literature project, Krzysztof Lichtblau will invite to a conversation authors and authors of books published in the last two, which are diverse in form, genre and theme. There will be no shortage of engaging and literarily valuable prose, reportage, and readers will be met by Maciej Marcisz, Beata Chomątowska, Radek Rak, Marcin Grzelak and Olga Górska.

The program of this year's special concerts, for which the term "exceptional" fits perfectly, promises to be rich! How else to call the 25th anniversary of the "Logos" City Choir or the energetic dance frenzy during the performance of "Sing it back!" Roisin Murphy Tribute Band & Novika? Pola Chobot and Adam Baran's opening performance is a sure candidate to etch itself into the memory of audiences, who will be able to hear them once again at the festival, when they, along with Kathia (winner of the Triton Award for the Festival's Biggest Personality, who is returning to FAMA after a year), will perform with vocal workshop participants. The amazing band Mud (with students from Media LAB UAP Poznan responsible for the visual experience) will perform a pre-premiere (!) of their album "Mushroom House." Since FAMA is an interdisciplinary festival there can be no shortage of such events. Izabella Gustowska's intermedia project "Hybrydy / Dark Swing" or the combination of music and mapping presentation in the final project "Who meets Clutchy Hopkins", where we will hear the master of words, Bisz, as a guest!

Dozens of cultural events in 6 days is indeed a lot. However, we have done everything so that the events do not interfere with each other and so that you can see every bit of the FAMA Festival.
