VII edition of the Festival of Tapestry - batik art exhibition "Painted with honey"

The theme of the 7th edition of the Textile Festival, of which the national exhibition of batik art "Painted with Honey" is a part, is batik art.
On 6.09.2024 at 19:00 its opening will be held along with a batik fashion show, and the exhibition will be available until 18.10.
The batik technique is extremely old and traces of it can be found in many ancient civilizations. The process of creating batik fabrics involves painting using beeswax or paraffin. Wax patterns are applied to the fabric and then dyed using dyes.
During the exhibition, viewers will see works by more than 20 artists from all over Poland: traditional batiks on fabric, on handmade paper, utility fabrics and clothing.
