"Jazz Oder Ensemble" is a musical project that was created especially for the concert series "Jazz Oder Festival". It will be an international ensemble consisting of musicians from Poland, Germany and Ukraine and Italy. The musicians will perform original repertoire, which will be created especially for the occasion and will be inspired by the Oder River - as a cross-border river of history, heritage and also natural potential. The musical director and initiator of the project is the Szczecin jazz guitarist Michal Starkiewicz, who oversees the artistic concept and sound of the band.The Oder River is a river that does not divide but unites and is a common challenge also in the field of caring for its natural qualities.

We invite you to the Polish-German "Jazz Oder Festival" organized by the Art Generator Foundation from Szczecin. The festival includes 8 concerts in 6 cities in Germany and Poland and a dozen musicians. The program includes hits of jazz music as well as original music, which was created especially for the festival. Admission to all events is free.
The festival is financed by the Small Projects Fund Interreg VIa and with financial support from the Foundation for Polish-German Cooperation.
