CHURCHES in the city

This fall - October 1 - a new album by Cherries will be released!
This time we take you to the city, loud and rushing, which fascinates and intimidates.
As always, we dance (we've recorded a lot of brass and won't hesitate to use them on stage!) and vigorously try to touch on topics important to small and large audiences.
We accompany the courier, look into construction, go on vacation. We worry about the world around us and the changes that affect us directly. We sing about the city that each of us would like to reach, to feel safe in it. Come with us (on the bike) and let's spend time together!

"Cherries in the City" is the fifth installment of the children's work of Andrzej Zagajewski, winner of the Polityka Passport in the Popular Music category, by day the frontman of folk punk band Shame! and an educator and music producer. The album is filled with inspirations from world music, which were translated into the language of live instruments by those known from Hańba! Wojciech Wędzicha (clarinet and saxophone), Jakub Lewicki (tuba and sacshorn) and Sebastian Kaszyca (percussion).

Cherries, however, is not only about albums, but also - who knows if not above all - about lively performances, during which the youngest listeners, in keeping with the idea behind the musicians, are invited to participate fully in a "musical concert."
