Przemysław Kowalewski - a Szczecin resident. Graduate of the University of Szczecin and scholarship holder at the University of Exeter in the UK. Creator of dark noir detective stories set in post-war Szczecin. He cooperated with "Kurier Szczeciński." He served as editor-in-chief of the monthly "Nowy Kurier". In 2015-2017, he taught at the Bogdan Janski School of Management j in Szczecin. In October 2023, he was awarded BETON 2023 in the category of SZCZECINIAN POPCULTURE CREATOR. In April 2024, for his novel "Goat," he received the main Literary Award of the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship Criminal Debut of the Year 2023.

Autumn 1976 - In Szczecin there is a series of fatal accidents. Very soon it turns out that the victims are connected not only by the way they died, but also by the fact that at the scene of each incident investigators find mysterious objects. Lieutenant Ugne Galant is assigned to the case. The militiaman is still struggling with the demons that plague him. When it turns out that investigators find traces left by Galant at the scene of events, the militiaman will have to face the ghosts of the past and the brutal truth about himself. He will plunge into a dark world of den, violence and sin. The kite hunt begins. If it is true that suffering ennobles, then it is time for those who preach this truth to face it.
