The event includes two exciting programs: the presentation of animated films from the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow and short films from the Szczecin Film Festival. The Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, known for its school of animated film, is showing a selection of films that were created as diploma or student projects in the past year. These works reflect the broad spectrum of contemporary animation techniques and styles. Some of the artists involved are already enjoying growing recognition and are successfully participating in international festivals. The presentation highlights the diversity of creative approaches and the special character of the Krakow animation school, which is known for its original and recognized films.
The Szczecin Film Festival is an important event in the Polish-German border region and provides a platform for exchange and cooperation in the film scene. The festival, organized by the Polish OFFicyna, shows films based on the latest audiovisual trends. The focus is on experimental and cross-border works that open up new perspectives on reality. The program is complemented by a broad spectrum ranging from documentary classics to avant-garde experiments with image and sound.
Both programs offer an excellent opportunity to experience contemporary cinematic developments and the work of up-and-coming artists.
