Freemasons and other Szczecin secret groups - a walk with Joanna Grycko

????We invite you to a unique secret walk around Szczecin! Together with an exceptional guide - Joanna Grycko - we will learn the secrets of Szczecin's Freemasons, spies and even the Mafia!

????‍♀️Start: 10:00 am at the old entrance to the Polish Theater (from Swarożyca Street).

????‍♂️Zaczniemy from learning about who the Freemasons were and how they ended up in Szczecin. We will pass by the Gravedigger's House, where we will learn the story of Szczecin's most famous French spy. We'll stop by the Druid House next to LO II and learn about the history of the Szczecin Mafia at the Park Hotel. We'll look for Masonic signs at Grunwald Square and then walk to the Cascade, which was the headquarters of many a secret group. Finally, we will reach the New Brewery, which was home to the third largest Masonic lodge.

????Joanna Grycko (Wachnik) - I am a licensed City Guide of Szczecin. I was born and grew up here. I not only live in this city, but I live Szczecin. A city unknown and undiscovered. A city whose history is worth knowing. I am a graduate of the Maritime University. I have salty blood written in my genes. My passion is sailing and finding peace under full sails in the middle of the sea. The Szczecin I talk about is also historic architecture, rich history and multiculturalism, but also one of the most modern and rapidly developing cities in Poland. Szczecin is, above all, its people. It is here that they lived: Catherine II the Great, Maria Fyodorowna, Konstantin Maciejewicz, Antoni Ledóchowski, Agata Kulesza, Katarzyna Nosowska, Radosław Majdan, Kamil Grosicki, Radzimir Dębski, Wojciech Wysocki, Aneta Kręglicka and many other outstanding personalities worth getting to know during my walks.
