"In our performance we will focus on the question of how to arouse empathy towards people, non-human beings, the planet and get rid of the fear of touch (loved ones, old age, nature). How do we switch from dozing reflections to action? In an attempt to answer this question, we will travel through the story of the main character, confronting her with the younger generation and the situation the Earth is in. It is a journey between the dying old world and the potential of the new. We place the action on a paraglider - Elizabeth's personalized non-place, a place in between, in the world before the gate, where she has to prove her feelings and write a statement about her beliefs. We want to show that talking about old age and the planet's crisis situation doesn't have to involve depression and gridlock. To try to shorten the distance, regain imagination, abstract thinking, practice feeling," say Aleksandra Bielewicz and Krysia Bednarek.
