The church is located on the right bank of Szczecin, in the center of the Zdroje district. Near Lidl and the market.

The parish was established by an appropriate episcopal decree on August 15, 1946. The previous period of its use is related to the Evangelical community, which since the 16th century gained the status of a common denomination in Western Pomerania, recognized by Pomeranian dukes. A Protestant community had existed in the area since 1859. In 1892 it was decided that it was necessary to build a church of its own. The works were led by a master from Szczecin, while Luttke from Dąbie became the masonry master. The faithful allocated 49,500 marks for the construction, and a year later the temple was ready. It was consecrated by Pastor Poetter on September 10, 1893. After the end of World War II, the building no longer fulfilled its role. The Evangelical community fell apart because of historical processes, and the temple became a furniture warehouse. As a result of the war, the church tower partially collapsed. After the war, when the building was taken over by the Roman Catholic community, the damage was repaired, and the interior was adapted to the new rite.
