On December 14, 1981, the first occupational strike under martial law in Poland broke out at the Unitra-Unitech Electronic Assemblies Plant in Bialogard.
After several hours, the militia entered the plant. Interrogations began, four participants in the strike were sentenced to long prison sentences.
"Memory in Photography" has produced a photo documentary #unitra81 depicting the living participants of the strike in photographs.
The opening will take place on December 13, 2024 at the Center for Culture and European Meetings in Bialogard. The exhibition will be open until January 10, 2025. Admission is free.
