Aviation archaeology in Polish historical-military museums - meeting with Pawel Pawlowski

You are cordially invited to the presentation of the book Aviation Archaeology. The Archaeology of Aviation, written by Zbigniew Kobylinski and Szczecinian Pawel Pawlowski. The lecture entitled: "Aviation Archaeology in Polish Military History Museums" will be given by Pawel Pawlowski.
The topic of the meeting combines two seemingly distant fields - archaeology and aviation history. Our guest will point out how these two disciplines work closely together, creating an interdisciplinary area in historical research and cultural heritage conservation. During a presentation with a multimedia demonstration, Pawel Pawlowski will present the history of research and discoveries of aircraft wrecks, which are an integral part of battlefield archaeology. There will be no shortage of references to discoveries from the Szczecin area. The meeting refers to a publication published in 2023 by Pawel Pawlowski in cooperation with Prof. Zbigniew Kobylinski entitled "Aerial Archaeology. Aviation Archaeology"
The organizers hope for an active discussion with the audience, especially regionalists, hobbyists and history enthusiasts.
