The WOLIN 2026 STARRY CYCLING RALLY – three routes, one shared finish!

The joint finish for all routes will take place in Wolin from 13:00 to 17:00.

Finish: The Slavs and Vikings Centre in Wolin

We have prepared three routes to choose from:

• SZCZECIN – WOLIN – an option for those who wish to cycle the entire route. Meet at 7.30 am, start at 8.00 am from the car park at the Dąbie lido – 1 Żaglowa Street. The estimated average speed is approx. 14 km/h. A refreshment break is planned in Stepnica along the way. Arrival in Wolin is scheduled for around 1.30–2.30 pm.

• ⛴S SZCZECIN – STEPNICA – WOLIN – a combination of a boat trip and a cycle tour. Meeting point at Chrobrego Boulevard, 7 Jana z Kolna Street, opposite the Polish Theatre. The ferry will arrive at 8.30 am, departing from Szczecin at 9.30 am and arriving in Stepnica at around 11.20 am. At 11.40 am, we’ll set off on our bikes towards Wolin, where we plan to arrive at around 2.00 pm. Estimated pace for the cycling section: approx. 14 km/h.

• GOLENIÓW – WOLIN – setting off at 10.00 from the car park by the Municipal Stadium, 25 Sportowa Street in Goleniów. Estimated average pace: approx. 14 km/h, arrival in Wolin at approx. 14.00.

• Once we reach Wolin, the fun isn’t over! A joint finale awaits participants in the unique setting of the Slavs and Vikings Centre.

On site, we’ll be providing, amongst other things: a commemorative medal for every participant, refreshments, water and drinks, a bike service, tastings of regional produce, games and activities inspired by Slavic and Viking culture, warrior combat demonstrations, archery under the guidance of an instructor, and a unique opportunity to take a cycling selfie with the Vikings.

Commemorative medals will be presented to participants during the finale in Wolin.

RETURN TO SZCZECIN

After the event, participants will be able to use organised transport from Wolin to Szczecin, including bike transport.

A total of 200 places are available:

120 places on the ferry,

80 places on a coach with a trailer for transporting bicycles.

Places are limited. Detailed information regarding departure times and transport arrangements will be provided to registered participants before the event.

ABOUT THE EVENT

The cycle ride is organised as part of the ‘Biking Szczecin Lagoon’ project, co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg VI A Cooperation Programme Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania / Brandenburg / Poland 2021–2027.

The aim of the event is to promote the Cycling Route around the Szczecin Lagoon, its natural, scenic and tourist attractions, and to encourage residents and tourists to explore Western Pomerania from the perspective of two wheels.

By registering for the Wolin 2026 Star Rally, the participant consents to the recording, use and dissemination, free of charge, of their image captured during the event – in particular in the form of photographs and video footage – for informational, promotional and documentary purposes relating to the activities of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and the promotion of the event and the region.

This consent covers, in particular, the publication of such material on social media, on websites, and in press, promotional and informational materials of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, without any territorial or time restrictions.
