Liquid condiment with a secret recipe.
Improving the poor diet of the workforce through nutritious, inexpensive and easy-to-cook foods is Julius Maggi's goal. At the end of the 19th century, the pioneer of industrial food production invented bag soups, the stock cube and the well-known liquid seasoning in the brown bottle with the yellow-red label. Maggi guards the recipe like the apple of his eye. In order to show his presence in the Reich capital, he moved his company headquarters from Singen to Berlin in 1911. The head office is located in the prestigious front building and the warehouses are in the four rear courtyards. Various offices and businesses are now located here.
