Kartoflada 2025 – Potato Festival in Mielno

Together with the National Agricultural Support Center, Koszalin Branch, we invite you to a unique event! Date: August 16, 2025 (Saturday) Time: 12:00–8:00 p.m. Location: Mielno, promenade at Kościuszki Street Free admission Kartoflada is an outdoor event that combines cuisine, history, and fun—all in a summer atmosphere with potatoes playing the leading role. This year's edition will take place in the heart of Mielno—on the promenade at Kościuszki Street—and will bring even more excitement, flavors, and attractions for the whole family. Event program: 12:00 p.m. – Opening of the event and start of the district preliminaries of the nationwide "Battle of the Regions" competition Rural Housewives' Clubs from the districts of Koszalin, Sławno and Białogard will compete for a place in the semi-finals. 12:30 p.m. – Street performance "Polish Potato in America" Stories about potatoes with a pinch of humor and a touch of history. 1:20 p.m. – "Potatoes, Pyry, Kartofle" – Potato Stories A panel discussion with culinary experts and historians. 2:20 p.m. – "Potato Show" – The "Nastrojeni" band A musical performance inspired by potatoes. 3:00 p.m. – “Potato Battle” A spectacular clash between two teams of chefs and culinary personalities. Each team will receive a surprise box #KupujŚwiadomie (Buy Consciously) with regional products, which they must use to prepare three creative potato dishes. 5:00 p.m. – Announcement of the Battle of the Regions results 5:30 p.m. – Performance by DJ Kostka 6:00 p.m. – Concert by the Star of the Evening – donGURALesko One of the most charismatic rappers in Poland – known for his original style, brilliant lyrics, and energetic concerts.
