The agricultural capital of Western Pomerania – AGRO POMERANIA Fair
For the 37th time, on September 12-14, the West Pomeranian Agricultural Advisory Center in Barzkowice will organize the AGRO POMERANIA Agricultural Fair in Barzkowice.
AGRO POMERANIA is undoubtedly one of the most important agricultural events in Poland. What determines its success and attracts crowds of visitors every year? Certainly, the rich offer of exhibiting companies and events accompanying the fair.
Last year, we had nothing to complain about: 38 machine companies, 33 offering plant and animal production resources, 68 gardening stands, 30 in the construction and renewable energy sector, 6 car dealers, 64 stands with handicrafts, 105 stands in the agri-food sector, as well as stands of institutions, banks, rural women's clubs, animal and horse breeders, riding schools, etc. A total of 1,332 entities. Last year's event was a great success – over the three days of the fair, we were visited by approximately 100,000 people.
The fair is also a good opportunity to showcase outstanding farmers, companies, and advisors. We will therefore meet the farmers who won the provincial editions of the "AGROLIGA," "Safe Farm," and "Best Organic Farm" competitions, as well as the competition for the best "Agro-Eco-Tourism Green Summer" accommodations.
The Barzkowice fair is a genuine meeting place for city and rural residents and an opportunity to show the youngest how agricultural products are made and what animal husbandry is all about. The fair's artistic program, rich in handicraft exhibitions, folk band concerts, and competitions for the most beautiful harvest wreath, makes the fair an advocate of West Pomeranian folklore. They are also an opportunity to taste local and traditional products and dishes from Western Pomerania, as well as dishes and baked goods offered by the Rural Housewives' Clubs. This is an event for anyone who would like to get to know the West Pomeranian countryside, understand the traditions and culture of rural areas, and see the latest equipment used for farming. The Saturday concerts by Long@Junior and Łobuzy will undoubtedly be a highlight of the event. It is also worth mentioning this year's attraction, which will be an extreme lumberjack competition in sports cutting and wood chopping – the 22nd STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Polish Championships 2025. We invite you to join us. Admission to the event is free.
