The complex of buildings at the Gryfice Narrow-Gauge Station was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It consists of the station building and a half-timbered warehouse. The station is part of the historic Gryfice-Popiele-Trzebiatów narrow-gauge railway line, along which other railway infrastructure facilities are also located. Among the most interesting are the bridge over the canal of Lake Liwia Łuża near Niechorze and the bridge over the Rega River near the village of Nowielice. These structures also date from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The section of the Gryfice–Popiele–Trzebiatów narrow-gauge railway described here exemplifies the high level of engineering at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It is also a real attraction for enthusiasts of narrow-gauge railways—once a very popular means of transportation in the local area.

Currently, the line is no longer fully operational on this section. However, those interested can still ride the popular “little train” along the section of the line between Gryfice and Popiele. All they need to do is take advantage of the offer from the Seaside Narrow-Gauge Railway and, during the summer, take a trip from Gryfice to Pogorzelica.
