A GREEN CORNER OF CULTURE

The “OPTYMIŚCI” Retirees’ Association is launching the “Green Corner of Culture” project at the Public Library in Sławoborze. The project is funded by the “Społecznik na 5!” Program—a program supporting grassroots initiatives for 2025–2029, initiated by the Marshal of the West Pomeranian Province. The project includes the following activities: - planting vegetation to enhance and green the area around the Public Library in Sławoborze, - creating small-scale architectural features to make the space functional and resident-friendly, - workshops on building insect houses, promoting environmental protection and ecological education. The goal of the project is to create a space that serves recreational, educational, and aesthetic functions, while fostering a sense of environmental responsibility within the local community. Project start date: April 16, 2026. We encourage all residents of Sławoborze to join forces and create a place where people can relax, learn, and connect with nature.
