4th Łazanki Taste Festival – “Łazanki Just Like Grandma Used to Make”

We invite you to the 4th Łazanki Taste Festival, which this year will take us back to the days of childhood, family gatherings, and the flavors we remember from Grandma’s kitchen. The theme of this year’s edition—“Łazanki Just Like Grandma’s”—will inspire us to cook together, discover traditional recipes, and take a nostalgic journey back to the days of the Polish People’s Republic. A host of attractions for the whole family await participants: ????️ A massive łazanki cooking session in a giant pan—a communal feast and tasting of the festival’s signature dish. ????‍???? Polish People’s Republic cuisine on stage—cooking demonstrations with tastings, during which we’ll discover flavors and recipes from years past. ????️ Exhibition booths—local producers, regional delicacies, handicrafts, and unique products prepared by the Rural Housewives’ Clubs. ???? “Variations on Łazanki” cooking contest—creative interpretations of this traditional dish and a competition for the title of best łazanki. ???? Nutrition advice—specialists will offer tips on how to plan a healthy diet and prepare traditional dishes in a modern, more nutritious way. ???? Old-fashioned courtyard games and activities—games and contests for children and adults that will bring back memories of carefree years without cell phones or computers. ???? Dance party to the music of those years—the biggest hits of the Polish People’s Republic and fun for everyone under the open sky. ???? The Sianowska Slow Zone—a place to relax, unwind, and peacefully savor the festival atmosphere. ????️ Historical demonstrations—a look at everyday life during the Polish People’s Republic era—what homes looked like, what was served at the table, and how residents spent their free time. ???? The Sianowska Senior Academy will reveal the secrets of making homemade preserves—pickling, smoking, making jams, and other traditional food preservation methods passed down from generation to generation. ???? An exhibition of items from the era of the Polish People’s Republic—iconic appliances, household furnishings, and memorabilia that will bring back memories and put a smile on your face. It will be a day full of flavors, memories, good music, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
