The 23rd Bream Festival

The 23rd Bream Festival – Nowe Warpno Invites You to a Celebration of Fishing Traditions! On August 22, 2026, Nowe Warpno will once again become the capital of Western Pomerania’s fishing traditions. The 23rd Bream Festival will take place in the picturesque park next to the Sailing Village—an event that has been bringing residents together and attracting tourists for years, combining local heritage, regional flavors, and musical entertainment. A rich program full of attractions for the whole family awaits participants. Highlights will include the traditional pierogi-eating contest, aromatic fish soup from the field kitchen, an open mic for residents, as well as concerts by Anna Nowik and her band, Majestic, and Funny Sunny Company. The evening will conclude with an open-air dance party featuring DJ Sound Wave Studio. Throughout the day, there will also be a children’s activity zone, as well as shopping, craft, and food stalls offering regional specialties, including freshly smoked fish and local delicacies. The event will take place on August 22, 2026, in the park next to the Sailing Village in Nowe Warpno. It begins at 2:00 p.m. The event is sponsored by Pomorze Zachodnie. The Nowy Warpno University of the Third Age is also involved in the organization, and Radio Szczecin will help create a unique atmosphere by broadcasting a live program from Nowy Warpno. The 23rd Bream Festival is organized as part of the project “Bream Festival – Immerse Yourself in the Traditions of Nowe Warpno,” co-financed by the European Fisheries Fund for 2021–2027, Sub-measure 3.2: “Information or promotional activities disseminating knowledge about the cultural heritage of the local community, fishing traditions, or the fishing area.” We warmly invite residents and tourists to celebrate together in Nowe Warpno!
