The Filar Astronomy Club invites you to: A GATHERING UNDER THE STARS Observation of a partial solar eclipse * Wednesday, August 12, 2026 * Time: 7:00 p.m. * Location: the pier on Lake Miedwie by the main beach in Zieleniew Program: - Weather permitting: Observation of the partial solar eclipse - 7:13 p.m. start of the eclipse, 8:06 p.m. maximum eclipse, 8:30 p.m. end of the partial solar eclipse - We encourage you to bring your own safe observation equipment - Starting in August, the SCN FILARY store will have equipment (solar glasses and filters) available for safe solar observation Admission is free.
