At 45 km/h to the Schönow industrial area
With the founding of the Zehlendorfer Eisenbahn und Hafen AG, an investor wanted to develop his commercial areas. In 1905, the first trains rolled between the Zehlendorfer Stichkanal and the Lichterfelde West station - pulled by horses. Steam locomotives were not used until 1915. The Goerz company took over in 1918. From then on, the Goerzbahn transported not only raw and building materials but also its own employees. Plastic parts for the Cologne Ford works will continue to travel here until 2018. After that, the route will no longer be in operation. The museum railway operation of the AG Märkische Kleinbahn e.V. is paused because the ownership of the route has not been clarified.
