The house at 17 Kościuszki Square is a building constructed in the 18th century and remodeled in the 20th century. It is a corner house, with its gable facing Powstańców Warszawskich Street. The building has two stories and is situated within a dense urban fabric. An additional story has been added to the gable end facing Powstańców Warszawskich Street. On this side of the building, there are arcaded colonnades supported by five pillars. Retail spaces are located at the corner of the building, while the remaining rooms serve as residential units. From the side facing Kościuszki Square, four windows are visible on the second story, while three are visible from Powstańców Warszawskich Street. Above, in the addition, there are five smaller windows. The tenement house is topped by a gable roof. Tourists will undoubtedly be charmed by the building’s facade, thanks to the arcades located there. In the summer, you can enjoy a moment of cool relief while resting in their shade. This building is adjacent to a historic tenement house of similar construction. The house is located along a walking path, close to City Hall and the city’s main square. There are benches and stylish streetlamps here.
