The Baltic Cross of Hope is a replica of the cross from Giewont. It was set up in 2007. It refers to the words spoken by Pope John Paul II during a Mass in Szczecin in 1987: "as the wind blows from the Baltic Sea to the mountain peaks - to the cross on Giewont."
The structure is 19 meters high and weighs 4.5 tons, so it is one and a half meters taller and nearly 2 tons heavier than the Tatra prototype. It is worth seeing the cross in winter, then an illuminated Christmas crib is arranged under the cross. The cross has become a landmark of Pustkow and a place of pilgrimage for the faithful from all over Poland .
