The Baltic Sea is the most popular cycling destination in Poland. The EuroVelo 10 trail, which was the first serious cycling trip for many cycling enthusiasts in Poland, is excellent for beginners; the route is easy and comfortable enough for children. The trail is very accurately marked in all tourist apps with maps, such as mapy.cz or OSMand. And since most of the route is well-marked, you won’t really need to consult the map at all. One of the key attractions of the R-10 trail is the fact that it runs close to the Baltic beaches, in particular the more remote ones which are visited mainly by cyclists. Another advantage of the trail is the availability of all kinds of services and conveniences, such as various accommodation options, plenty of restaurants and bicycle repair workshops, as well as the vicinity of railway stations, allowing you to focus on just having fun. Over the years, a community of the R-10 (former name of EuroVelo 10 in Poland) trail lovers has emerged; you will meet many of them along the way.
Velo Baltica is the West Pomeranian part of two international bicycle routes, Eurovelo 10 (Baltic Sea Cycle Route) and EuroVelo 13 (Iron Curtain Trail).
