• Address: Bolesława Krzywoustego 2, 73-110 Stargard

One of the most impressive towers in Poland, a municipal defensive tower built in the 15th century. It is an eight-story, brick structure, 31 meters tall. Cylindrical in its upper section and resting on a square base, it features two upper terraces topped with battlements (a crenellated finial). At the very top is a brick spire. The facade features decorative elements made of glazed brick.

The ground floor of the tower housed a prison dungeon, while its upper rooms served defensive and observation purposes.

The name—Weavers’ Tower—derives from the fact that the Stargard weavers’ guild was responsible for the tower. It has also come to be known as the Ice Tower, as it served as an ice storage facility.

Currently, it is not possible to tour the interior of the tower due to its poor condition.
