• Address: ul. Powstańców Warszawskich, 76-150 Darłowo

The pedestrian zone in Darłowo—with the exception of one intersection—is closed to vehicular traffic. Pedestrians have the absolute right of way at this location, and drivers wishing to cross Powstańców Warszawskich Street must exercise extreme caution. The street has a very charming atmosphere, and each building has its own interesting history. Historic buildings begin right next to Kościuszki Square. Pay special attention to the very first building on the pedestrian zone. It houses the tourist information office. This building once belonged to one of Darłowo’s largest shipowners—Heptenmacher. Along the boulevard, there are many restored townhouses. The pedestrian zone is lined with numerous small shops. In the center, you’ll find benches, stylish lamps, and flower-adorned cornices. It’s a popular meeting place for Darłowo residents and tourists alike.
