A baroque palace with visible elements of Dutch architecture. The palace was built in the 18th century. The main risalit, featuring the von Bork family coat of arms (two stories, plastered mansard roof), has been preserved. The first owner of the estate was Andrzej von Bork. Between 1717 and 1721, the estate passed into the hands of the Grand Governor of Szczecin, Wilhelm I, and his wife, Antoniette Hedwig. During this time, the Baroque residence was expanded. In 1743, Antoniette’s son, Adraian, added a wing to the palace. The courtyard and garden were also created during this period. From 1848 onward, the estate was owned by Philiph Heinrich G. von Bork. During his tenure, the outbuildings adjacent to the palace were removed. Two-story wings were also added to the palace, as well as annexes with towers. In 1945, German headquarters were stationed in the castle. After Soviet troops entered Starograd, the palace was set on fire, resulting in the destruction of its valuable furnishings. After the war, the palace was restored and served as the headquarters of a state-owned agricultural enterprise. In 1992, the palace was transferred to the State Treasury Agricultural Property Agency—Szczecin Regional Office.
