Sport Stars Avenue

Sports Stars Avenue in Dziwnów is a famous street which runs along a modern sports hall, which commemorates successes of the Polish sportsmen. Here, visitors can find marble plaques with medal replicas which were won by the Polish sport champions. These include, among others, the medals won by: Irena Szewińska, Paweł Nastula, Grzegorz Lato, Kazimierz Górski. Since 2002, each year, during the Festival of Sports Stars, new pedestals with replicas of medals are added. Apart from the medal replicas, also autographs of famous sportsmen are displayed. The Polish Olympic Committee patronages over this idea.
