Świnoujście ‘Basen Północny’ – The North Dock

This is the largest marina in Western Pomerania. It is a good shelter for those returning from the sea, and the harbour point for those who choose to sail the Baltic Sea. ‘Basen Północny’ (North Dock) is a very comfortable and large marina, sheltered from the open water, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. Yachtsmen will find everything they need for their trip here, including decent toilets, hot water, a tavern, a small grocery store and a laundry, as well as a petrol station and a bicycle rental point, and free of charge Wi-Fi Internet connection. A boatswain is on 24 hour call, and the area is monitored. Within the marina there is big-screen displaying weather message and also a currency exchange. All facilities at the marina may be paid by credit card. The marina can accommodate up to 300 boats with drafts of up to 4.5 meters. Some yachts and sailboats are able to  moor at the solid concrete wharf, and others on floating pontoons. There are also special mooring spaces for water scooters.
