The Szczecinek Water Tram is one of the city’s most important tourist attractions and was named Tourist Product of the Year in 2007. The “Księżna Jadwiga” sightseeing boat is one of the most charming vessels in the entire Drawsko Lake District. Thanks to its renovation, it can now accommodate 174 passengers. The ship is ideal for hosting special events and corporate functions (the standard program includes a one-hour cruise on the lake and a picnic on Mysia Island). It is also possible to charter the vessel for, among other things, a private cruise for the whole family combined with a special event.
The second Szczecinek Water Tram, the “Bayern,” is one of the few vessels of its kind in Poland. It is an integral part of the city’s public transportation system. It operates according to its own schedule, stopping at designated stops. It can carry 54 passengers. Its interior design is inspired by the vessels that sailed on Szczecinek Lake over 60 years ago. In 2007, the Polish Tourist Organization honored the Bayern with the prestigious “Tourist Product of the Year 2007” award. The boat cruise lasts about one hour. During this time, you can see Szczecinek from a slightly different perspective. Lovers of forest hikes can disembark on the other side of the lake and use the designated barbecue areas on Mysia Island or take a long walk along the hiking and biking trail.
