The park in Popielewo dates back to the second half of the 19th century. It was laid out in the naturalistic style. The park covers an area of 2 hectares. The park consisted of two parts. The first part was of a utilitarian nature, featuring a distillery, an orchard, and a garden. The second part was intended for representative purposes. The park’s founders are unknown. There is also no detailed information about the park. It is known that the park once surrounded a stately palace, which burned down in 1952. The park’s layout includes an orchard, a row of hornbeams, and a clearing surrounded by spruce trees. The walking paths are irregular. Today, the park is quite neglected and unused. The park is home to native tree species approximately 120 years old. These include Norway spruce, Norway maple, horse chestnut, European hornbeam, and small-leaved linden. Of particular note are 3 English oaks, 2 laburnums, 2 European larches, and 3 European beeches. The park’s tree stand is well-preserved. After World War II, a water intake was built on the park’s grounds. The park is accessible and open to visitors for walking.
