The earliest records of the mill date back to 1748. The golden age for the development of the Karlińskie mills coincided with the period when the Fischer family managed them. The mill was technologically connected to the granary located on the opposite side. The mill was powered by the dammed waters of the Radew River (at the level of the bridge on the road toward Białogard), channeled through the Młynówka canal.

The Karlińskie mills played a significant role in the town’s economic history. It is therefore worth tracing their operations over the past three centuries to gain a deeper understanding of the development of this craft in the town, as well as the transformations that took place on Szczecińska Street, where they were located.

One building has survived to this day, still housing the original chutes for grain and flour, as well as historic power-generating turbines that, harnessing the force of the flowing Młynówka, continue to convert water into electricity. Currently, the mill is privately owned and operates as a hydroelectric power plant.
