The exact date, which would tell about the first appearance of the mill on the Wieprza Canal, is not known. It is known, however, that its contemporary form, dates back to 1894. In the 1930’s, the mill belonged to a wealthy miller called Wilhelm Wunder, who owned 20 ha of land at that time. In the past, the miller’s homestead was surrounded by a wall. Next to the miller’s house, there were also: livestock and farm buildings, and a garden.

The mill is parallel to the Wieprza Canal. It has been preserved in quite a good condition. The windows are located individually or in pairs between the pilaster strips. From the canal’s side, the front façade is made of bricks. The turbine used to be located outside the main building. On the ground floor, there was the engine-room. On the next floor, there was a rolling mill. Grain tanks were situated in the north-western part of the mill. That is why, the windows are only on the ground floor and the fourth floor. Not many pieces from the original equipment have been left, among those preserved are: elements of the  transmission device, sieve machines, part of bucket elevators. Next to the mill, stands the miller’s house, interior of which, has been adjusted to residential needs of multiple families. Currently, the building is hardly used. Only one family lives here.

The best solution is to take a look at this construction from the side of the canal, while visiting Wyspa Łososiowa [Salmon Island] which lies between the Wieprza River and the Młyński Canal.
