Pleistocene Walk of Fame

The Pleistocene Star Avenue in Moryń is an outdoor educational trail by Lake Morzycko, which forms part of the "Promenade of the Great Crayfish" educational trail. The project is the Polish part of the cross-border Geopark "Land of the Glacier on the Oder," which focuses on nature education and geology. Life-size models of animals from the Ice Age (including mammoths, woolly rhinoceroses, saber-toothed tigers, and cave bears) have been placed there. The figures are covered with fur, can be touched, and are accompanied by information boards and casts of footprints. The avenue is part of the "Land of the Glacier on the Oder" Geopark, serves an educational and recreational function, and is free to visit.
