The Neoclassical palace in Trzebieradz was built at the beginning of the 20th century and served as a sanatorium for naval officers. It was likely funded by Emperor Wilhelm II. The building, erected several dozen meters from the shore of the Szczecin Lagoon, is hidden behind the trees of the park, which has been preserved to this day within its original boundaries. The palace faces the waters of the lagoon. It is a two-story building with two side wings. The main entrance to the palace is accessed via a wide staircase. Six Doric columns are also situated here, supporting the terrace visible above, beneath which a porch is located. The building is crowned with tympanums filled with bas-reliefs. The walls are made of clinker brick. The decorative trim around the windows has survived to this day. In the vicinity of the palace, there are other buildings, one of which is called the manor house—originally intended for the servants—as well as a riding arena with stables and a coach house. Later on, the buildings housed a cafeteria and the administrative facilities of a vacation resort. The property on which the buildings are located is fenced in. The entrance consists of a wide wrought-iron gate, with side gates on either side. All of this is supported by four tall posts. A linden-tree-lined avenue leads to the complex. The first owner of the property was Georg Wegner—a physician and director of the Szczecin hospital in Pomorzany. In 1923, the property changed hands, and eight years later, the new owner sold it to the Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt organization, which established a training center for party activists here—the so-called Gauschule—while the adjacent buildings housed a home for mothers—the Mutterheim. In April 1945, Soviet troops entered the premises and used the building as a hospital. From 1945 onward, it housed a facility of the Border Protection Forces. From the 1950s to the early 1990s, the facility served as a vacation and summer camp center. It is currently privately owned. The new owner has undertaken the renovation of the building, and the results are already visible. The grounds are well-maintained, and landscaping work is being carried out on the property. The facility is accessible from the outside.
