Ecomural of Western Pomerania in Wałcz

Ecomural was created in November 2022. It was made using special photocatalytic paints that neutralize pollution. It is estimated that 1 square meter reduces 0.44 g of nitrogen oxides per day. Paints also absorb sulfur dioxide and solvent vapors, destroy microorganisms - bacteria, viruses, fungi; reduce unpleasant odors. Their great advantage is self-cleaning. The painted surface does not require frequent refreshing or washing. The mural was created as part of the "Western Pomerania Green Region" project, co-financed by European funds of the Regional Operational Program 2014-2020. The project was selected in a competition organized by the Marshal's Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.
