This route crosses the lake district from north to south, connecting the Baltic Sea with the Wałcz Lake District. The route from Kołobrzeg or Mielno to Wałcz mainly follows the old railway lines. Of the 170 km between Wałcz and Kołobrzeg, 94 km run along old railway lines. An additional 12 km along old railway lines can be found on the railway link to Świdwin. Apart from its sentimental value, such a bicycle trip is above all easy and enjoyable. The old railway lines make it easy for everyone to overcome even the highest hills of the Łobez Upland. The route is marked between Wałcz and provincial road 102 near Kołobrzeg, so almost in its entirety. Along the way, we will encounter numerous palaces, interesting churches, former railway stations, and above all, we will experience peace and quiet surrounded by wild nature.
