Old Railway Trail The route from Kołobrzeg or Mielno to Wałcz mainly follows the old railway lines. Of the 170 km between Wałcz and Kołobrzeg, 94 km run along old railway lines. An additional 12 km along old railway lines can be found on the railway link to Świdwin. Aside from the sentimental value, this kind of cycling trip is just easy and pleasant. The old railroads will allow even the beginner cyclist to tackle the tallest hills of the Łobez Highland without any trouble. At the moment, there is a complete marked section available between Białogard and Złocieniec. You can get from Kołobrzeg to Karlino via a convenient cycling path. The route will take you to multiple palaces, interesting churches, old railway stations, but most importantly, you will be able to enjoy nature.
