Szczecinek Balloon Festival

The International Balloon Festival in Szczecinek is one of the largest balloon events in Poland and Europe. With fifteen years of tradition and thousands of spectators! It is an event that combines culture, sports and recreation. A unique combination of balloon sports with an extraordinary spectacle, during which spectators can directly participate in spectacular balloon launches and observe the struggles of balloonists in sports and recreational competitions.
A distinctive feature of the Festival is the Night Balloon Gala, during which the balloons form an orchestra and, under the direction of a conductor, float to the rhythm of music.
The event every year gathers crowds of viewers from the city, the region and all over Poland, and during the Festival Szczecinek becomes the Polish and European capital of balloon sports.

Thursday, July 4
approx. 19:00 - evening flights - OSiR, Pilsudski street 3 or external launches
22:00 - ride through the streets of Szczecinek in a convoy of cars with launched burners (streets: 3 Maja/ Ordona/ Parkowa/ Jana Pawła II/ Wyszyńskiego/ Kamiński/ Mickiewicza)


Friday, July 5
approx. 6:00 a.m. - morning flights - OSiR, 3 Pilsudski Street or outdoor launches
approx. 7:00 p.m. - evening flights, OSiR grounds, 3 Pilsudski Street or outdoor launches
10:30 pm - Night Balloon Gala - an artistic show during which music and light reign supreme. Illuminated balloon canopies float to the rhythm of music, with an experienced conductor setting the tone. Mini balloon show, hot air balloons - OSiR, 3 Pilsudski Street

Saturday, July 6

22:00 - evening air show with pyrotechnics at Lake Trzesiecko
