The crossing harks back to pre-war times, when Gozdowice was still a highly regarded resort. The ferry crossing Gozdowice - Güstebieser Loose is the first ferry crossing on the Oder in Poland. Years ago, the village was divided between Poland and Germany, at which time the ferry connection was closed. It was not until 2007 that the two parts of the village were symbolically united and integrated.
The ferry runs from April to October.

Ferry Without Borders in Gozdowice is a modern ferry, carrying not only people, but also cars, bicycles and motorbikes. Ferry cruises can be excellent entertainment for families with children.
The municipality of Mieszkowice invites you to use the ferry crossing Gozdowice - Güstebieser Loose. The ferry runs from April to October six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday, taking six cars weighing up to 2.25 tonnes and 20 passengers on board.
