The route leads picturesquely through a section of the Old Railway Trail, local roads with little traffic and quiet forest fire roads. It is a loop, so you can start riding anywhere — we set off from the Kłosowski suspension bridge, heading along the shore of Lake Raduń towards the Old Railway Trail.
Then we head north on a comfortable, asphalt section of the SKS to Kłębowiec — it's about 6 km of road completely separated from car traffic. In Kłębowiec, we turn onto a local asphalt road, and after about 2 km we turn onto fire road No. 27, which we follow for another 5 km.
The next section leads over 5 km along a local asphalt road near the fortifications of the Pomeranian Wall and the Combat Open-Air Museum in Zdbice, where it is worth seeing the exhibition of military and engineering equipment from the battles for the Pomeranian Wall and learning about the local traces of the fierce fighting of February 1945.
From Zdbice, the route leads to Ostrowiec along forest fire road No. 2. In this village, we cross provincial road No. 22 and then enter the former railway embankment leading towards Wałcz. This section is exceptionally picturesque — we pass the remains of two bridges, the lakes Chmielno Małe and Chmielno Duże, and the Cegielnia Fortification Group, where it is worth planning a longer stop for sightseeing. There is a complex of well-preserved fortifications of the Pomeranian Wall — bunkers, shelters and corridors, which allow you to see a fragment of World War II history up close and learn about the scale and nature of the region's former fortifications.
In Wałcz, we head back towards the Kłosowski suspension bridge, passing the War Cemetery on the way – one of the largest of its kind in Poland.
For those with less time, it is possible to shorten the route by bypassing Lake Raduń. Just cross the Kłosowski Bridge in Wałcz – this will shorten the loop by about 7 km.
