• Address: 74-505 Troszyn

Troszyn is a village built on an oval plan. The village was clearly divided into a farmstead and a peasant part. The manor consists of two farmyards and seventeen buildings (including an impressive grain elevator from 1924), while the peasant part consists mainly of brick and stone buildings.

From 1871 to 1945, Troszyn belonged to the Finck von Finckenstein family, a wealthy family from East Prussia.

At the beginning of the 19th century, the aforementioned family established a manor park in the northern part of the village (unfortunately, the manor house did not survive and was demolished in the 1960s). The park covers an area of 9.6 hectares. Between 1870 and 1880, the facility was rebuilt. The eastern part of the complex serves a landscape function, while the western part is dominated by a naturalistic forest park. The park features an interesting tree stand with monumental oaks, yews, lindens, maple-leaved plane trees, and common beeches. The park adjoins a lake.

In the forest, not far from the village, there are two stones erected in honor of Count Günther Finck von Finckenstein, the owner of the village and the forester with whom Günther planted the forests around Troszyn.

The manor park was entered on the list of monuments in December 1980.
