• Address: Warcisława 8/10, 74-106 Kołbacz

The palace on Warcisława Street, like the neighboring building, was erected in the 19th century. It was most likely built in the 1840s, as it is marked as a planned building on a map from 1844. In the early 20th century, a side wing was added to the northeast corner, which served as an outbuilding.

Like the neighboring palace, the building was constructed in the Classical style, though its architecture also features Neo-Baroque elements. The building has a rectangular floor plan; it is a single-story structure with a basement and a usable attic. The gable end of the building is topped by a gable-roofed mansard roof with dormers, pediments, and skylights shaped like “ox eyes.”

The outbuilding, added in the 20th century, has a lower gable roof with skylights identical to those in the main building. The palace’s front facade is a symmetrical seven-axis design, and the interior consists of two and a half wings. The building’s windows are topped with arches.

The building on Warcisława Street served as the so-called “steward’s house,” where the estate’s administration was based. After 1945, a elementary school was established in the building, which operated in the palace until 1988 (the new school building was put into use in January 1989). Currently, the palace, which has not been renovated, has fallen into ruin.

The windows have been bricked up, and entering the building is dangerous. The building can only be admired from the outside. To reach the building, turn onto Warcisława Street; the palace is located next to a historic Gothic barn that was once part of the farm buildings belonging to the Cistercian Order. Across the street, directly opposite the palace, stands a medieval church.
