The ferry operates from May 1, 2026, through the end of August.

For current information on ferry routes, please check the Mieszkowice Commune website (in Polish).

The crossing harkens back to pre-war times, when Gozdowice was still a popular resort. The Gozdowice–Güstebieser Loose ferry border crossing is the first ferry border crossing on the Oder River in Poland. Years ago, the village was divided between Poland and Germany, and the ferry service was discontinued at that time. It was not until 2007 that the two parts of the village were symbolically reunited and integrated.

The “Ferry Without Borders” in Gozdowice is a modern ferry that carries not only people but also cars, bicycles, and motorcycles. Ferry rides can be great fun for families with children.
The Municipality of Mieszkowice invites you to use the Gozdowice–Güstebieser Loose ferry border crossing. The ferry can carry 6 passenger cars weighing up to 2.25 tons and 20 passengers.
