There is currently no information available regarding ferry service in 2026.
The crossing dates back to the pre-war era, when Gozdowice was still a popular resort. The Gozdowice–Güstebieser Loose ferry border crossing was the first ferry border crossing on the Oder River in Poland. Years ago, the village was divided between Poland and Germany, and the ferry service was discontinued at that time. It was not until 2007 that the two parts of the village were symbolically reunited and integrated.
The ferry operates from April to October.
The “Ferry Without Borders” in Gozdowice is a modern ferry that carries not only people but also cars, bicycles, and motorcycles. Ferry rides can be great fun for families with children.
The Municipality of Mieszkowice invites you to use the Gozdowice–Güstebieser Loose ferry border crossing. The ferry can carry 6 passenger cars weighing up to 2.25 tons and 20 passengers.
