This is a fairly short route that starts at the train station in Dąbie, though if you plan to set out from downtown Szczecin, you’ll need to add at least 10 km to the distance. The route takes us to Goleniów along the popular embankment by Lake Dąbie. After about 3 kilometers, as we cross the Chełszcząca River, we see the first signs with the number 3 marking the Blue Velo route, as well as signs indicating the Route Around the Szczecin Lagoon. Ahead lies nearly 20 km of comfortable gravel path with views of the lake and Szczecin itself. Along the way, there are numerous rest areas and beaches, which add variety to the journey. Upon reaching Lubczyna, we veer off the official trail and follow the bike path toward Goleniów. If the distance proves too long for someone, or if they’ve spent too much time at the beach and have a train to catch soon, they can turn onto a straight road near the S3/S6 and use the Goleniów Industrial Park station. However, if time permits, it’s worth riding all the way to the city itself, visiting the city park, taking a ride down Aleja Świętego Jerzego, or along the picturesque stretch by the Ina River. The trip ends at the station, where InterCity, POLREGIO, and SKM trains operate.
