The Rococo palace was built between 1775 and 1780 by Christoph von Doeberitz, the then-owner of the surrounding lands. The building was designed as a two-story structure with a partial basement. The facade is accentuated by a three-axis central risalit crowned with a section of cornice and an attic. A prominent inter-story cornice runs along the facades, and the upper story is divided by pilasters. On the north facade stands a tower rising above the wings, topped with a spire. The facade features a Baroque sandstone coat-of-arms cartouche bearing the coats of arms of the Bork and Doeberitz families. The ballroom still houses an 18th-century Rococo fireplace.

In the early 19th century, the estate was partially damaged during the stay of Napoleon’s troops, who were stationed here during their retreat from Moscow. In 1806, after the Napoleonic army had already left Darskowo, the then-owner, Ludwik von Knebel-Doeberwiz, carried out a major renovation of the palace. In 1840, his son Rudolf, who had inherited the estate, began expanding the property. A side wing was added to the Classicist main building. During the last war, the palace suffered no major damage. It was only its use by the State Agricultural Farm and twenty years of neglect that led to its ruin. It was not until the 1990s that it underwent a thorough renovation and was adapted for use as a Social Welfare Center.

The park was established as early as the 18th century. It currently covers an area of 3 hectares. The park has preserved a stand of old trees of great natural value, as well as a picturesque avenue of maple trees.
