The proposed route follows the Western Lake District Trail to the village of Dobra. From there, we take a local trail through the forest, pass an animal shelter, and cross the border in the small village of Linken. Next, we ride along a dedicated bike path on a local German trail to the village of Schwennenz. There, you should turn onto a cobblestone street, though you can easily continue riding on the wide sidewalk.
This brings us back to Poland, where you should turn onto the local road leading to Bobolin. Here, you can stop at a farmstay, leave your bike, pet some alpacas, and—in the fall—buy a pumpkin.
In Warnik, you’ll join a bike path that “winds” through the fields, far from car traffic. The route takes you to Przecław, from where the orange markings of the Blue Velo trail will guide you toward Szczecin.
The route passes over various surfaces, including forest trails and cobblestone roads, so wider tires are recommended. At the same time, most of the route is away from car traffic or on roads with very little traffic.
